I am back!

Hi all,
I have been off line for some time as of Tuesday I am back on line.
I have been here in Florida for 2 months now and finally starting to get settled.
I have been doing some sewing . I finished 5 quilt tops and sent them to DD Jennie to quilt.
She sends me a care package ever so often with things to work on. All the UFO's I have in my life she has lots to choose from.
I am hoping she gets my sewing machine shipped soon so I can start on Christmas things.
When I first got here I didn't like it at all it was so hot and humid but now it's great! It's in the 70's and the humidity is down . This last week has been just perfect.
Not a bad place to spend the winter!!

Todays the Day

Sometime today I will be leaving for Omaha to catch my flight to FL. at 6:00Am Sunday morning.
I have never been to FL. so it will be fun to see it.
I will not have a computer right a way so it my be some time before I post again.
I am going to take care of my Aunt and her husband that are having some problems.
For how long I don't know??
I am just going with the floe and see what happens.
It is a new adventure for me.
I will miss my kids and grand kids but you never know they may come to see me?

I'm home

Yes I am home and got to sleep in my bed. We had delays and I got into Omaha about 3 hours late. The weather was bad in Denver. I feel like I could sleep for a week! I had a great time in Washington and it was so nice to see everyone and spend time with my Aunt and Uncle.
Now I have to get ready to fly out to Florida to take care of my Aunt and her husband. They are not doing well. I am going to be gone indefinitely.
I guess no sewing for a while!! When I get settled I can have DD Jennie send me my sewing machine and some things.
I have the next 3 days to work at the museum and then off I go on another adventure.

Hi all I have been here in Washington ST. For all most a week and where the time has went I don't know.
I did a lot of visiting with every one here.
But what I need to tell you all is I WON!!!! $2500.00 at the casino last night. I hit one of the big jackpots on a machine I was playing for $2004.00.
I was so tired when we got home from all the gamboling.
I have never won that much in my life!!!
It is just so pretty here. I hope to get some photos on when I get home.
I wish I could stay longer. The weather is so nice and cool here.
What a vacation!!
My Aunt and Uncles anniversary party was so nice their kids did a great job!!
I am so proud of all of them. They are all the best and what a family should be!!
I fly home tomorrow at 11:00.

Vacation

Here I am in WA. St.
It's my Aunt and Uncles 50th wedding celebration. So I am taking a vacation for the week. It will be so nice to see everyone.
I am not doing well with the time change I was up at day light and didn't go to bed until 3:00 AM.
We are going to Joann's fabric store later to get stuff for the party.
Just my kind of place. Fabric!

I am back on line.

I have had a time with my computer but it's up and running now.
I am getting ready to go to Seattle the 11 th for a week so not much sewing except for a lot of bindings for Jennie and 2 for me.
I have lost some of my embroidery files so I will have to start over with them.
Live and learn!! I don't learn as fast as I should.
