Forgiveness

 Well #2 is done and blowing in the wind.
I used the word forgiveness.
I know I can use some in my heart and mind.
 Boy it should be in Chine in no time with the wind today!

I am using bits and scraps in my sewing room.
You never know what may show up on my flags!

Prayer flags

 My very first prayer flag. I plan to do more there are so many thing so put to the wind.

 It is for one of the things I have all ways wanted, to travel the world and see all the places I have seen on TV and read about in books.  As a small child I dreamed of going places. I sill have that dream.

 This is out side at the back porch of my old building I have been very slow in renovating. AS you can see it need work or maybe just taken off. It takes time witch I have a lot of lately but the energy and $$ are hard to come by.

 This is my best friend and companion Spike. He is something .

 This is in my kitchen zone. Sara DGD #2. She is modeling aprons that DD Jennie made up with the patterns for the Quilters Candy Shop . She works at the shop part time.

It's been a while!

Hi everyone! I know It's been some time . I have had a broken leg and just not felt like posting or anything else for that matter. I brock it on Jan. 26 th so I have been layed up for some time.
Ironing board caddy.
I made the pink one for my self for all the odds and ends that lay on my ironing board.
I made the other one for my DF Linda in AZ.
I put a cord for scissors so they wouldn't get loss they will always be there when I need them.
WE had our monthly quilt meeting the 2ed Tue. of the month and we all made Ironing board caddy's. We always have a good time and we even had 2 friends from South Dakota join us.

I am on the road to recovery and out of the wheel chair and walker!! I find using a Cain not much better but it helps me get from one place to the other. I hope to get out of this boot they have me it in a few weeks. That will be much better.

Jan. Meeting

WE all got together for our first meeting of the year.
The hostess made us all a sack lunch it was great we all had fun with them. WE even had Cool Aid. WE all made the bags that the girls and I made for Christmas. They had a great time learning to make them and thought of all kinds of gifts they could use them for.

My GD Sara worked on quilt blocks while we were all doing bags.

Christmas come and gone!

My tree.

I got my tree up right after Thanksgiving. But Jennie came a week later and put the ornaments on for me. It looks so much better than this photo shows. I have really enjoyed it.

More bags!!

I made these for gifts on Sat. My granddaughter Sara,14 needed gift for all her friends . So Sara and I cut them out and Jennie and I sewed and Sara turned them She needed 8 of them and Jennie took some for gifts for her co-workers at the Quilt shop. I kept the brown poke-a-dot.

My friend Janie come over Friday and I showed her how to put them together the 2 below are hers.

The ones we made for Kristin were a great success. The girl's in the apartment at collage loved them.
