They have names!!

From left to right. Ettie Confetti, Meall Green, Sister Sue, and Treifica turquoise.
They are all sisters. they love to have a good time. They also love to shop at fabric shops.

Scrappy Chics

I have finished my Scrappy Chic's doll trade for F.A.T. yahoo group.
All I have left to do is make a label and give them each a name I used some of my Jenny Raymond squares I had from a project I never finished . Everything is from scraps of other projects I have done. My ladies are a little on the wild side. They love to have fun!!!

trade finished

I finally finished the Eggs-traordinary chicken trade. In this trade we had a theme of chickens and eggs.
I did the chicken wall hanging and a hot pad and 2 coasters to match.
I found some chocolate chicks. We all like chocolate!!
There is a frig magnet and a bag of chicken feed or if you like you can micro wave it and put on a sore joint or neck. It's full of corn.
I found some Cocks comb and hens and chicks seeds.
It's been fun to think of chicken and egg stuff.

A little of the green

I started this last week before Mom went in the hospital. I decided today to finish it for a trade I am doing. It's not very big it's only 8" x 8 3/4". I made 2 of them . I will use the other one for a small St Pat's Day gift. It's been very hard to get back into the swing of things and work on stuff. Just to much lose in the last few weeks.
I know it will get better it just takes time.

In Memory of Mom & Grandma

As we were looking for papers and things we needed for Mom's funeral. Jennie came across the 4 embroidered blocks. I gave them to Mom in the early 80's and then she put them in a drawer and that's where they have been ever scents. Jennie took them home and her and Sara #2 granddaughter put it together and quilted it and I did the binding in the car on the way to Mom's service. We placed it on the end of the casket and placed the casket spay on it. It look so nice and it will live with Sara now. I think Mom would have been proud of her Granddaughters for doing it for her. The quilt will be a remembrance for Sara of her Great Grandma Wilson.
The service was nice I think she would have liked it.
