This is my fabric paper quilt I did today. The rules said I had to cut it up and then sew it into a quilt with a back and finished edges. It had to be 12" sq. and some quilting on it. The next one will bee a lot different. This was a good challenge to use what I made. I learned a lot from this project.

Paper fabric
I tried making paper fabric yesterday. Some thing turn out better than others !
I didn't know what I was doing and the instructions did not go into much detail! My glue was too thick. ( I did not see the word diluted in front of the word glue until I was done)My fabric is pretty stiff. This was a learning experience! Is that what they all ways say? The next one will be a lot better. But I am going to try and make this into a 12" art quilt.(Maybe)
It's still very cold here today. Oh for Spring to come!

Cold and snow!
Good morning to a very cold, windy, and snowy
day.
It's not my favorite weather. But what can you do living in NE.?
I have it stay in side and sew! Maybe make a pot of soup?
The photo is of a block from my row robin. I made five 12 1/2" blocks for the row.
Using Aunt Gracie's are not the kind of fabrics I like to work with. I am trying to do things out of my comfort zone.
I see by the photo I need to press the blocks. The camera seems to pick up every little wrinkle, it dose not help that is is hanging by tape on the side of my kitchen cabinet.
I just looked out side and it dose not look good out there. They just said it was 0 that's 55 deg. less than yesterday. Only in NE.

What we did Sunday!
Here is a sample of Iris paper folding, I tried with fabric . It worked very well.
Jennie, Sara and I spent Sunday afternoon making paper folded hearts.
It was fun to try but I don't think I would like to do a lot of it!
Sara really enjoyed it . She got 2 done and desided to send one to her Uncle Kelsey for Valentines Day.
I am working on 5 Dresden Plate blocks for a row robin. I hope to get them done today, and ready to send off.
Aunt Gracie fabrics are some thing I usually don't work with so it will be fun to see what comes back to me. It's all ways a challenge when I do row or round robins as you never know what you are going to get from the other people. It makes me work with fabrics I would not work with ordinarily.
