The Craft show last Saturday went well . One boy microwave hot pad order and a wrap a round 2 handed hot pad order. All done ready to deliver.
All of these are remote control holders the are long to tuck down over the chair arm or go between the mattress and box springs on the bed. above are for the men in my life. A dear friend of mine Lynda S. Gave me all the manly prints and I used scrap bindings form other projects.
These are for men or women.
The enter net hasn't been working right. I got up Sunday morning and it was out. Internet Explorer seems to be at the base of the trouble may be it time for something else. It's still not right.

It's finish it up Friday and My Birthday to day!
If you right hand click on photo it will get larger so you can see it all better.
This is my birthday gift to myself. I found this table and four chairs in a resale shop in Lincoln , NE. while visiting a friend a few weeks a go. It was marked $149.00 that was more than I had at the time. The salesman ask if I saw any thing I liked and I said yes but it was to much so I made a offer, he made a call, to the party that owned it and I got it for $90.00.
It is a 1972 Chrome Craft you can not lift the table by yourself. It sold for $375.99 new. The tag was still on the under side of the table top. There is not a scratch or a mark or a tear any where it's just like the day it was it was made. Well it looks very good in my place. Everything is green.
If you look real close you can see my tomato's DD Jennie and I put up there are 24 QT. I have to keep them in my living area so they don't freeze. The rest of the building isn't heated. So they are on the floor under my shelves.
And yes the dog had to get in the photo as well. If you look back on my blog you can see my apple green sink.
Now for finish it up Friday ! This is going to be a sewing machine cover I was ready to quilt it and put it together and sew the binding. That was the plan today. I had to drive 30 some miles to get my drivers permit renewed for another 5 years. I got there and no billfold and drivers license I did have my check book. They did let me have it renewed thank goodness for computers!! They just looked it all up .
I had visitors in and out all day. Jennie came we got to sew a little and she had supper with me. Then off to set up for the craft show here in town tomorrow. I was bake home at 9:30 and I finished the binding on the sewing machine cover at by 10:30. Still I did get it done be for midnight.
Now it's time to hit my bed . It will be a long day at the craft show. So good night all.
This is a Christmas gift for a friend of mine. She gave me all the batiks that are in it. So now they will go back to her in something.

More Apron's .and finish it up Friday
Yes more apron's. This is for my DS Kelsey's soon to be step-Daughter. Dariann. She loves purple.
I had to add flowers to cover a beer logo on the shirt. You never know what you will find when you are recycling old shirts.
This is for My DGD Sara . This is my finish it up Friday project. I started it on Thursday and got it done yesterday. I was having some problems with my computer so I had to post today. Sara picked out the shirt. It's a khaki brown sort of green.
She has always like the fabric and it matches so well with the shirt. She even found the buttons to match. IT made my work a lot easier.

Pumkin time
It's that time for pumpkin's. DD Jennie got me pumpkin's and she and DGS Brad drilled holes in them while I watched. Jennie and I came home and she did most of the assembly I stuck flowers in them .
Do you see Spike in the window? It's his favorite place to be.
My poor building is in need of a good new coat of paint. It will have to be next Spring or Summer now. I took the flowers I had in the barrels this week and it was looking a little bare.Friday, October 11, 2013
Finish it up Friday Some times a hard thing to do!
Here is my Finish it up Friday project. All I had to do was hand finish the binding on 2 place Matt's and 1 table topper to match. Some times life gets in the way. I thought I would get it done this morning and at 8:50 tonight I finally got it done. I got the charm pack in Texas over a year ago and finally made it into something. They will be a Christmas gift. I was thinking I might not finish it today. But I did some fast sewing from 5:00 P.M. until 8:50 P.M. tonight.

Little of this and that!
My DGD Kristin and her 2 roommates have a apartment in Seattle . They have a very small dinning table so I made them 2 table toppers for the table. My Halloween was very limited All I had was the black fabric They are all just starting out so not much $$ for decorations.
Here is the sewing machine pad with pockets a Christmas gift. Along with the sewing machine cover I made and finished on Friday.
My soon to be new Daughter in law Wanted a apron made out of a men's shirt like the others I have made. She said her favorite color was orange. This is what I came up with. It was hard finding something orange so I went with khaki green shirt. I had a green with orange fabric so that's what I went with. I added orange buttons. We get the shirts at thrift shops and the Goodwill. Some are $.50 to $1.75.

Finish-it-up Friday
Some of the blogs I read do finish-it-up Friday. I think it's a good thing so here is mine.
I had everything put together to quilt for a sewing machine cover. Today I quilted it and put it together and bound it. One more Christmas gift done. I am planning to make a sewing machine pad / caddy to match. Maybe by next week I will have it done?
It's that time of year I start sewing for gifts. Christmas isn't that far away!

Microwave hot pad bowl's and a bag for me.
My DS Sue requested a larger microwave hot pad for her popcorn bowl to fit in . She eats a lot of popcorn and the bowl is hot. She love pink so that's what I did for her.
My DF Jane gave me this fabric . She found it in Hawaii when she went last year. She knows I like green. It's been waiting for me to make something .
This is the back in the top photo with a pocket and the front has a zipper on the top about 2 or 3 inches down. I think it will be a good shopping, shoulder bag . It's light weight and the strap is long enough to use as a cross over bag. I made this one about 10 " across and boxed the bottom corners so it will sit up.
